Cats
Momma (white), Catan (cow), and Squintin (tabby), all live inside, even though they may protest to go out and eat grass. Don’t be tricked. It’s not the end of the world if Squintin gets out, he just might come back with another chicken. Catan and Momma will probably be shy and hide mostly, but may come out over time. The bedroom closet is a favorite hiding spot. They all have an auto-feeder and auto-waterer, and treats in the tiger stein. They share wet cans as treats, and love drips from the bathroom sink, and catnip is with the toys by the back door.
Wesley (orange) is the neighbor’s cat, but we feed him, he is needy. He is also spicy, so beware when he winds up and starts meowing loudly, that’s a warning sign. Tripp (orange 3 legged) comes around infrequently and we feed him, as well as Socks (tabby w white socks) and another orange and white shy guy.

Chickens & Garden
We have 6 chickens, plus a bonus. Foggy (white) and Frenchy (black) are the oldest. The 4 new girls are Buffy (yellow), Mary (gray), Lizzie (bigger red), and Rosie (smaller red). Bonus is called Baby for now, and was being segregated but recently introduced her with the flock. If you feel she's being bullied she can be separated and put in the other coop with the green canvas roof, with some food and water. It's not the best shelter so if a crazy storm comes or something, feel free to scoop her up and put her in the cat taxi in the garage.
They all have waterers and large feeders that will last them, but they also love snacks! Mealworms or bird seed from the garage stash near their food bin, or kitchen scraps, all can be tossed at them whenever. Only Frenchy is laying so far, but feel free to collect all the eggs you want. Only need to refrigerate if you wash them.
Houseplants should be fine for a week, but feel free to give them love and attention, and take a propagation cutting or a few if you’d like! The front outside gardens have a sprinkler on a timer set, but if you feel inclined to hand-water any gardens outside of the sprinkler reach, feel free! Second hose is out back. All veggies and flowers are fair game, pick to your heart’s content. More vases are above the stove.

House
WiFi: Setup0900(any of them) direct0898field
The house is old, but we love her. If you have any issues please just let us know. We’re in the constant process of trying to update and renovate our space, so just know it’s a very lived in and loved home. Like most sliding back doors, we also use the stick method to secure it, so when you head out please try to remember to replace it. We do live a (mostly) natural lifestyle, which means no bug poison, natural outdoor habitats, etc, so you may find the frequent flyer indoor insect visitor. Apologies in advance!
Cindy is our robot vacuum, feel free to press her ‘clean’ button whenever you wish and she’ll take off to work, just be sure to look around first for any loose objects she may try and eat. Other vacuum and broom is in the coat closet, other cleaning stuff under the kitchen sink, and first aid stuff is under the bathroom sink. Trash and recycling goes out Tuesday night (paper and cardboard, 1&2 plastic only, no glass) but only if you want to take it, it can skip a week no problem.
There are games in the hall closet, and all kinds of crafts in the small closet in the main bedroom. Painting, clay, embroidery. Help yourself! Also feel free to mess around on the keyboard, there should be some music books too.

River
The Illinois river is a 10 minute drive away, with many public access areas as well as river outfitters if you want to get away, get some sun, and soak in the river vibes. There is a map on the fridge with lots of info. Coolers, life jacket, and an innertube floatie you can borrow are all in the garage.
We have nice bike and hiking trails just past the river at Welling Ridge. Super cute, plus we helped build them! Sequoya State Park is also nearby, as well as Tenkiller Lake.

Town
Tahlequah is a small quaint river town, but the people are grand! Lots of music and good eats, too. Monday evenings at 5:30 my friend Dorena hosts yoga at the 108 Yoga Studio (upstairs), drop in fee is around $10. She’d love to have you! Kroner & Baer bar has open mic night on Tuesdays until 10, good beer and phat salads. On Thursdays, The SqueezeInn bar has open mic night, and a good dirty martini. Half off thrifting at Habitat on Mondays and Wednesdays, and yard sales basically every weekend.
